Abstract:

OBJECTIVE:  To  investigate  the  expression  of  HER-2，MMP-2，IGF-1  and  VEGF  with  cervical  cancer  for  clinical  assessment.  METHODS：We  collected  cervical  tissue  samples  from  Uygur  women  with  cervical  lesions  (invasive  cervical  cancer，ICC：38  cases，cervicitis：32  cases).  The  mRNA  and  protein  expression  levels  of  HER-2，MMP-2，IGF-1and  VEGF  in  tissues  from  two  groups  were  examined  by  real-time  fluorescence  quantitative  PCR  (Q-PCR)  and  Western  blot.  RESULTS：Compared  with  normal  control  group，the  expressions  of  HER-2，MMP-2，IGF-1  and  VEGF  in  ICC  group  were  increased  to  different  extent  at  mRNA  level，and  the  difference  was  statistically  significant  (P<0.05  or  P<0.01).  At  protein  level，the  expressions  of  HER-2，MMP-2  and  VEGF  in  ICC  group  were  increased  to  different  degree，and  the  difference  was  statistically  significant  (P<0.05  or  P<0.01)，but  there  was  no  statistically  significant  difference  in  IGF-1  expression  (P>0.05).  CONCLUSION： The  excessive  expressions  of  HER-2，MMP-2，IGF-1  and  VEGF  may  be  related  to  the  occurrence  and  development  of  cervical  cancer.
